SBI, RASS Provide Sewing Machines to 221 Women

State Bank of India and Rashtriya Seva Samithi helped 221 women in Tirupati.

They gave the women sewing machines to help them earn money.

The machines were worth Rs 15 lakh altogether.

The support came through SBI’s “Intiki Deepam Illalu” program.

The women are members of RASS savings groups.

SBI said the machines could help women become more financially independent.

RASS said it would keep teaching savings and job skills.

The goal is to help women and their families have better incomes.
