Lokesh Launches Suzlon Wind Power Projects in Anantapur

Nara Lokesh helped start a new wind-power project in Anantapur.

The project will be developed by Suzlon.

Suzlon plans to build wind projects producing 1,325 megawatts of electricity.

The company expects to invest ₹10,000 crore.

It says the projects could provide jobs for about 4,000 people.

Lokesh also started production lines for new S144 blades.

He said the government wants more solar power to be used across the state.

The government also plans to create a Centre of Excellence in Tirupati.

Suzlon already has more than 1,700 megawatts of renewable-power capacity in the state and aims to add 5,000 megawatts by 2030.
