Andhra Pradesh Inaugurates Suzlon’s 1,325 MW Wind Projects

Andhra Pradesh is adding more wind-power projects with help from Suzlon.

On Tuesday, IT Minister Nara Lokesh inaugurated projects that can produce 1,325 megawatts of electricity.

The projects are expected to bring an investment of Rs 10,500 crore.

They may also create 1,600 direct and indirect jobs.

Suzlon opened two more production lines at its smart blade factory in Ananthapur.

The company has worked with Andhra Pradesh for more than 20 years.

Its facility already supports over 1,200 green jobs.

Suzlon has also trained 12,000 young people, including 3,000 women, in clean-energy skills.
