The company plans to spend about ₹10,000 crore on wind-energy projects in Andhra Pradesh.

The projects would add 1,325 MW of proposed wind capacity in the Rayadurg area of Anantapur district.

A new S144 blade manufacturing facility is being opened at Huliker, also reported as Hulikera, village.

Nara Lokesh is scheduled to inaugurate the facility on Tuesday.

One report describes the new manufacturing line as having a 300 MW capacity, while another refers more generally to new production lines.

The projects are expected to create about 4,000 direct and indirect jobs.

Suzlon also aims to add 5 GW of renewable-energy capacity in the state by 2030.
