Guwahati Homemaker Builds Rs 2.5 Lakh Monthly Sweets Business

In 2022, she decided to turn that hobby into a business called Kitchen and Gupshup.
She began with four products, including barfi, roasted gram and mathris.
The business later grew to more than 30 products and moved into a commercial kitchen.
Sunita’s son joined her and helped recruit traditional sweet makers from Rajasthan and Haryana.
The company now has nearly 3,000 customers and earns about Rs 2–2.5 lakh each month.
Sunita checks the sweets herself before they are packed.
She also helps women sell the products from home so they can earn money without fixed work hours.
