Nepali Tales Finds Momo Success After Repeated Setbacks in Thane
Around Town: Inside Nepali Tales, a cloud kitchen in Thane that failed twice before Prajakta Koli called it ‘the best momos in India’ · indianexpress.com

Nepali Tales is a small home-based kitchen in Thane that makes momos.

Ashika and Dipesh Pradhan run it together.

They prepare the dough, fillings, chutneys and gravy from scratch every day.

Customers must order one day ahead because the food is freshly made.

The kitchen now sells about 70 to 80 plates each day.

Actor and creator Prajakta Koli praised their momos online, bringing many new customers.

The couple had previously tried a momo shop and several other businesses, but those efforts did not work out.

They renamed their venture Nepali Tales and slowly rebuilt it.

Now they are looking for a larger place and hope to open a Nepali restaurant someday.
