Ladakh DGP Inaugurates 72-Foot National Flag in Kargil
Ladakh’s police chief, Anand Jain, visited Kargil for two days.
He opened a very tall National Flag at the district police lines.
The flag is 72 feet high and was created with help from local officials, police and the Flag Foundation of India.
Jain also reviewed safety and crime issues in the area.
He asked police officers to work closely with other security forces.
He told them to solve old cases faster and focus on serious crimes, drugs and cybercrime.
Local people asked for help with drug abuse and more cybercrime awareness programs.
Jain said their concerns would be examined and encouraged young people to apply to become police constables.
