A big leader in India, Dr Jitendra Singh, went on a special flag walk called a Tiranga Yatra.

Tiranga means the tricolour flag of India, and the walk was held to show love for the country.

He marched all the way to the Zero Line, the exact border line between India and Pakistan.

The walk ended at Bobiya village, in the Hiranagar sector of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Soldiers of the Border Security Force, called BSF, guard this border day and night.

The minister thanked the soldiers, saying people living nearby can sleep without fear because the soldiers stay awake.

He also praised the soldiers for helping people during recent floods, showing they help in emergencies too.

The yatra happened on the day before India's Independence Day.

He said it was inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's idea called "Har Ghar Tiranga", which means a flag in every home.

The minister talked about plans to make the border "smart" with new technology to keep it safe.
