Indian Railways is adding trains for people traveling during Ganapati Festival 2026.

These trains will run along the Konkan route between Goa, Mumbai and Maharashtra.

One service will connect Madgaon with Lokmanya Tilak Terminus.

Another smaller train will connect Chiplun and Panvel.

The trains will stop at several stations along the way.

The Madgaon–Mumbai train will have seats, sleeper coaches and air-conditioned coaches.

The Chiplun–Panvel train will be unreserved and will have eight coaches.

Passengers can book the main special train starting September 8, 2026.

Train No. 01004 runs Madgaon to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus; Train No. 01003 operates the return journey.

4:00 pm on September 15 and September 18, 2026.
Mumbai departure
7:50 am on September 16 and September 19, 2026.

19 coaches: three AC 3-Tier, eight sleeper, six general and two SLR/D coaches.
MEMU schedule
Chiplun–Panvel service runs September 10–14 and September 18–27, 2026.
