EOW Finds PWD Engineer's Properties Worth ₹11 Crore
The Economic Offences Wing searched the homes and government accommodation of a government engineer.
The engineer is named Kamalkishore Singare.
The searches happened in Balaghat, Chhindwara and Bhopal.
Officials said they found assets worth about ₹11 crore.
These assets included houses, land, cash, jewellery, vehicles and a shopping complex.
They also found a farmhouse and farming equipment.
The investigation began after a complaint was filed on July 13.
The complaint alleged that the engineer asked contractors for commissions before clearing their bills.
The Economic Offences Wing searched three premises linked to PWD executive engineer Kamalkishore Singare.
Searches took place in Balaghat, Chhindwara and Bhopal from around 6 a.m. on Thursday.
Officials said they found property and assets valued at approximately ₹11 crore.
The assets included land, houses, a shopping complex, a farmhouse, cash, jewellery, vehicles and agricultural equipment.
The investigation followed a July 13 complaint alleging Singare demanded commissions from contractors to clear construction bills.
