ACB raids Senior Assistant's properties in Kurnool over DA allegations
The Anti-Corruption Bureau is a special team that checks whether government workers are getting rich in unfair ways.
On Thursday, this team searched the house and other places linked to Gopal Rao, who works at the Sub-Registrar's Office in Kurnool.
The team thought he owned far more things than he could buy with his salary.
They searched six places, including his home near Peddapadu.
Inside his house, they found a very expensive home theatre system and other costly items.
They also found papers showing three big luxury houses and five empty plots of land.
Together, those properties may be worth around 2.80 crore rupees.
The team is now checking bank lockers, cash, and gold and silver items too.
After they finish checking everything, they will release a full report about how much he owns.
