Mumbai Woman Accused of Faking Husband’s Death to Sell Flat
Ryan Crasta and Shalini Diana Crasta were married in 2007.
They later separated but jointly owned a flat in Borivali, Mumbai.
Ryan says Shalini sold the flat without asking him.
He alleges that she used false papers to make the sale possible.

Shalini was arrested and taken to a magistrate court.

Police allege forged documents were used, including a fake death certificate showing Ryan as deceased.
The couple bought the one-bedroom flat in 2016 for Rs 73.80 lakh.
They jointly took a Rs 56 lakh loan, and Ryan said he paid the instalments.
Shalini was arrested on Wednesday, September 9, and produced before a Borivali magistrate court.
