Western Railway Revises Suburban Timetable With New Services
Western Railway is changing its local-train timetable from September 1, 2026.
The railway will still run 1,414 suburban services.
Six new trains will be added, while six older services will be removed.
Two more air-conditioned trains will run on weekdays.
A new through service will connect Dadar directly with Dahanu Road.
Some trains will travel farther or start and end at different stations.
A few trains will skip Borivali or stop at Goregaon instead.
Passengers have been asked to check the new timings before travelling.
Western Railway will introduce a revised suburban timetable on September 1, 2026, while continuing to operate 1,414 services.
Six new services will be added and six existing services withdrawn, including two new UP services and four new DOWN services.
Direct connectivity between Dadar and Dahanu Road will begin through an integrated service departing Dadar at 17.22 hrs.
Weekday AC services will rise from 145 to 147, while two existing non-AC services will be converted to AC services.
Several trains will receive revised routes, termini, timings or stopping patterns, including some services skipping Borivali or ending at Goregaon.
