Mumbai Writer Alleges ₹2.20 Crore Fraud in Property Deals

Film writer Mallika Gharde says a woman named Geeta Yadav promised to arrange several properties and a car.

The deals allegedly involved a flat in Juhu, a farmhouse in Lonavala and a car.

Yadav allegedly said these assets could be bought cheaply because they were connected to auctions.

Gharde and her late husband reportedly sent money to accounts provided by Yadav.

They say they never received the flat, farmhouse or car.

They also say the money was not returned.

Gharde’s husband died in July 2024 after suffering from liver disease.

She later learned that earlier cheating cases had allegedly been registered against Yadav.

Kurar police have registered a fraud case and are investigating.
