AP Gets 25.1 Lakh MT Fertiliser Allocation for Rabi 2026-27
Farmers need special plant food called fertiliser to help their crops grow.
The government of India decides how much fertiliser each state will get.
It has told Andhra Pradesh how much it will receive for the Rabi 2026–27 season.
Andhra Pradesh will get about 25.10 lakh metric tonnes of fertiliser.
That is more than last year, when the state was given 23.08 lakh metric tonnes.
Officials from many states met on Friday to talk about fertiliser needs and how much each state should get.
They looked at how much land is being farmed and what kind of soil it has.
Andhra Pradesh's farm and garden area for this season is about 51.76 lakh hectares.
The fertilisers being given include urea, DAP, MOP and SSP.
This support will help farmers grow their Rabi crops.
