Bhadrachalam Turns Garbage Dump Into Green Pilgrim Zone

It smelled bad and made the area unpleasant for pilgrims.
Officials and panchayat workers removed the waste and cleaned the site.
They planted about 10,000 young trees and plants there.
The planting covered five acres and took place over 10 months.
The former dumping area is now greener and more pleasant.
Officials have accepted responsibility for protecting and maintaining the plants.
