NTR Zilla Parishad Renovated Buildings Inaugurated in Vijayawada
A new office facility for the NTR Zilla Parishad was opened in Vijayawada.
The facility includes a meeting hall and quarters for the chief executive officer.
Both areas were renovated using Rs 60 lakh from the Zilla Parishad.
The meeting hall cost Rs 35 lakh, while the quarters cost Rs 25 lakh.
The building is in the Panchayat Raj Department Engineering premises.
It will help officials run the new district administration.
The new Zilla Parishad was created after the government reorganised districts.
It is scheduled to start functioning on September 25.
Krishna Zilla Parishad Chairperson Uppala Harika inaugurated a renovated meeting hall and CEO’s quarters at the NTR Zilla Parishad office.
The renovation cost Rs 60 lakh, including Rs 35 lakh for the meeting hall and Rs 25 lakh for the CEO’s quarters.
The office is located within the Panchayat Raj Department Engineering premises in Vijayawada.
The facility is intended to support the newly constituted NTR Zilla Parishad and rural development coordination.
The new Zilla Parishads are scheduled to begin functioning on September 25, after existing elected bodies’ terms end on September 24.
