Officials told to prepare ghat-wise plans for Godavari Pushkaralu 2027
A big Hindu festival called Godavari Pushkaralu is coming in 2027.
During this festival, people travel to take a holy bath in the Godavari River.
A very important government officer named G Sai Prasad is already making plans for the festival.
He wants every bathing spot, called a ghat, to be safe and well organized.
He told other officials to prepare a special plan for each and every ghat.
The plan will help manage the crowds so people can move around smoothly.
He also wants clear sign boards that show people how far they must walk from the parking area.
Special advisory counters will be set up at each ghat to guide the pilgrims.
Officials will tell everyone that it does not matter which ghat they bathe at because the spiritual merit is the same.
They also want to encourage devotees from all over India and other countries to join the festival.
Chief Secretary G Sai Prasad directed officials to prepare comprehensive, ghat-wise action plans for Godavari Pushkaralu 2027.
The plans focus on effective crowd management and ensuring smooth movement of pilgrims at every bathing ghat.
Officials were told to create awareness that devotees receive the same spiritual merit irrespective of the bathing ghat they choose.
A communication strategy will promote the slogan 'Snanam – Danam – Pitru Tarpanam' (Holy Bath, Charity and Offering to Ancestors).
Dedicated advisory counters and sign boards showing walking distances from parking areas will be installed at each ghat.
