Water supplied directly through the large pipe may be interrupted on Tuesday.

Areas supplied by 20 overhead tanks may have less or no regular water on Wednesday, August 26.

The affected neighborhoods are spread across several parts of the city.

Tankers will be sent to help provide water.

Residents have been asked to save enough water before the work begins.

A 1,200 mm-diameter pipeline will be shut down for 24 hours.
Direct supply disruption
Direct supply through the pipeline will be affected on August 25.
Overhead-tank disruption
Regular supply to areas served by 20 overhead tanks will be affected on August 26.
Major valve repair
A faulty 250 mm valve will be replaced in the Mhow Naka area.
Other repairs
Leaks will be repaired at Bilawali gorge and beneath Rajendra Nagar Bridge.
Alternative arrangements
Tankers will supply water to affected areas.
Resident advisory
Residents have been asked to make arrangements in advance and cooperate during the shutdown.
