Hyderabad Water Supply Face 24-Hour Disruption for Pipeline Work
Some parts of Hyderabad may have little or no tap water for 24 hours.
The interruption is expected to start at 10 a.m.
on August 29.
Workers need to connect and modify a large water pipeline near Bandlaguda X Road.
This work will help the city build a box drain.
The pipeline is part of the Krishna Drinking Water Supply Project.
Some neighborhoods may have no water, while others may only have low pressure.
Many areas in and around southern and western Hyderabad are affected.
Officials asked residents to use drinking water carefully and cooperate until the work is finished.
Water supply will be fully or partially disrupted in parts of Hyderabad for 24 hours.
The disruption is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on August 29.
Work will be carried out on a 1,500 mm MS gravity main at Bandlaguda X Road.
The work is needed to support GHMC’s construction of a box drain.
Affected areas include Bandlaguda, Shamshabad, Attapur, Jubilee Hills, Gachibowli, Madhapur and other localities.
