Pune Water Cut Thursday: PMC Lists Areas Facing Disruption
Pune’s water department will carry out maintenance work at several water facilities.
The work starts at 11pm on Wednesday, August 26.
It is expected to continue until 11pm on Thursday, August 27.
During this time, many parts of Pune may not receive normal water supplies.
Areas in and around Sahakarnagar, Bibwewadi, Aundh, Shivajinagar and Kothrud may be affected.
Water supply could also be low or uneven on Friday morning.
The Pune Municipal Corporation asked people to store enough water before the work begins.
Residents were also asked to use their stored water carefully.
Water supply will be disrupted across several Pune areas on Thursday, August 27.
Pune Municipal Corporation maintenance work will run from 11pm Wednesday to 11pm Thursday.
Affected localities include parts of Sahakarnagar, Bibwewadi, Yerawada, Khadki, Aundh and Shivajinagar.
Several areas around Kothrud, Karve Road, Paud Road, Pashan, Sus and Warje are also included.
PMC advised residents to store water in advance and warned of low or irregular supply Friday morning.
