Naini Lake is a lake in Delhi that is getting a big makeover.

The city's civic body has started a project to make the lake cleaner, greener, and more beautiful.

Water that is cleaned at a sewage treatment plant will be sent to the lake so it stays filled.

Any extra cleaned water will be used to water the parks nearby.

Workers will add plants, pretty lights, and two musical fountains.

They will also fix the walkway drain, grill, and boundary around the lake.

The whole project costs about Rs 9.73 crore.

It was officially started on Sunday by city leaders including Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra.
