Nellore Water Treatment Plant Reconstruction Works Begin
A water treatment plant in Buja Buja Nellore is going to be rebuilt.
The project will cost about Rs 50 lakh.
Corporator Baddepudi Narasimhagiri began the work with a bhoomi puja ceremony.
Local residents had asked for the plant to be repaired or rebuilt.
They raised the issue during MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy’s Praja Bata programme.
The MLA then brought the matter to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Officials and party representatives said money was arranged for the project.
The broader 25th Division development allocation was reported as Rs 7.50 crore.
Several TDP leaders and local representatives attended the ceremony.
TDP Corporator Baddepudi Narasimhagiri performed the bhoomi puja for reconstruction works in Buja Buja Nellore.
The reconstruction project is estimated to cost Rs 50 lakh.
TDP spokesperson Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy said Rs 7.50 crore was allocated for 25th Division development.
Residents raised the need for reconstruction with MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy during his Praja Bata programme.
Sridhar Reddy reportedly secured the Rs 50 lakh allocation after raising the issue with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
