Telangana Sanctions ₹20.96 Crore for Water Supply in 108 Habitations

The government of Telangana, a state in India, wants to make sure every household has clean drinking water.

It has decided to give money to help villages that are running short of water.

The amount of money being given is ₹20.96 crore, which is a very large sum.

The money will be used in 108 villages and small settlements.

These villages are located in two districts called Mulugu and Mahabubabad.

Workers will build big water towers, called overhead service reservoirs, to store water.

They will also lay pipes and drill borewells to pull water up from underground.

Before the work begins, the government wants experts to check how much water is available underground.

The project is part of a bigger program called Mission Bhagiratha.

When the work is finished, people in these villages should have reliable clean water for a long time.
