APSSDC, Microsoft Train 1,223 Women in AI Careers
The AI Careers for Women programme helps women students learn about artificial intelligence and new technology.
It is run by the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation with Microsoft India.
In its first year, 1,223 women students took part.
They learned through practical activities, projects and larger capstone assignments.
The programme used two Hubs and 10 Spokes.
Special AI Centres of Excellence provided the technology needed for training.
Seventy-two students received job placement offers, and others received internship opportunities.
Students who completed the programme were given certificates.
