GenAI Training Benefits 1,800 Andhra Pradesh Engineering Students
About 1,800 engineering students in Andhra Pradesh joined a special technology training programme.
The programme taught them about Generative Artificial Intelligence, or GenAI.
It also showed them how to write useful instructions for AI systems, called prompts.
Students practised using AI to help solve problems.
They learned that AI should be used responsibly.
The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation organised the programme with Infosys.
Classes were held at six engineering colleges from August 17 to September 1.
The goal was to help students prepare for future technology jobs.
About 1,800 engineering students from six Andhra Pradesh colleges completed specialised GenAI and Prompt Engineering training.
The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation organised the programme with Infosys.
The training took place from August 17 to September 1 at participating engineering colleges.
Students learned GenAI fundamentals, prompt engineering, AI-assisted problem-solving and responsible AI use.
The initiative aimed to improve students’ industry readiness and strengthen industry–academia collaboration.
