Rajasthan: 5 arrested; 66.4 kg silver recovered in Jaipur treasure case · thehansindia.com

Workers were tearing down an old, big house in a city called Jaipur in India.

While knocking down the walls, one worker found hidden treasure.

Instead of showing it to the person who owned the house, he kept it and gave some to his friends.

The police found out because the workers suddenly had more money and nicer lives than before.

Police arrested five people involved in the secret.

They took back 66.4 kilograms of silver, which is about as heavy as a person.

The treasure also included silver bars and many old coins.

Police used phone records, informants and watching the suspects to figure out who was involved.

Now police are still searching for the rest of the treasure and checking whether more people helped.
