Some people in Hyderabad tricked others by promising to find treasure buried under their houses.

They said they had special knowledge to know where hidden treasure was.

People gave them money hoping to get rich.

The tricksters would dig up the ground to look for treasure.

Secretly, they buried a sack full of coal and fake gold coins.

Then they told the homeowners it would take time to turn the coal into gold.

After that, they ran away with the money.

Police caught four of these tricksters.

Police say they fooled 11 people and took about one crore rupees.

Police are now warning everyone to be careful of such fraudsters.
