Cash trolley recovered from abandoned brick kiln in Bengal's Durgapur

Police officers found a small cart full of money in an old, empty brick-making building in a town called Durgapur in West Bengal.

The cart held more than 48 lakh rupees in cash, which is a very large amount of money.

The police were looking for money stolen from a man named Manoranjan Pal.

Mr. Pal owns a rice mill and lives in a village called Gaurbazar in Bankura district.

He told police that thieves broke into his house on August 1 and took a cart full of money.

He also said some gold ornaments were stolen at the same time.

The police got a secret tip and went to the brick kiln at night, where they found the cart.

But the police are not sure yet if this money is the same money taken from Mr. Pal's house.

They are still investigating who left the cart there and when.
