Adityanath says social media now medium for anti-India conspiracies
A big leader in India named Yogi Adityanath gave a speech about the Kakori Train Action, which happened 101 years ago in 1925.
Back then, brave Indian fighters stopped a train near a town called Kakori and took money that belonged to the British, who ruled India at that time.
Adityanath said some people are using social media, like apps on phones, to spread lies and trick people against India.
He also said that after India became free, many of these heroes were forgotten and people mostly remembered just one family.
He praised the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi because it is now honouring these freedom fighters.
The British called the train event a robbery, but now the government calls it the 'Kakori Train Action' to show respect.
He asked everybody to put up the Indian flag at their homes and sing a special song called 'Vande Mataram' on Independence Day.
He also told people to find and take care of forgotten freedom fighters' memorials in their own villages and towns.
He honoured the families of the Kakori fighters and of soldiers who gave their lives for India.

Speaking at the inaugural programme of the Kakori Train Action Centenary Celebrations in Kakori, he alleged a conspiracy has kept the present generation from taking pride in revolutionaries such as Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan, Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.
He claimed that after Independence, institutions were named largely after members of 'one khandaan', a veiled reference to the Nehru-Gandhi family, but that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has honoured the 'real heroes' of the freedom struggle since 2014.
Adityanath credited the government with calling the incident 'Kakori Train Action' instead of 'Kakori dacoity' and developing memorials associated with B R Ambedkar, Veer Savarkar, Bismil, Roshan Singh and Ashfaqulla Khan.
He appealed to people to hoist the national flag at every home on Independence Day, ensure 'Vande Mataram' is sung at institutions, and identify forgotten freedom fighters from their villages, districts and regions.
