Kolkata Metro Orange Line Section Clears Track Inspection
Kolkata Metro workers inspected part of the Orange Line using a push trolley.
The inspection took place on September 17.
The section inspected runs from Beleghata-IT Centre to Salt Lake.
Workers have finished the viaduct and ballastless track there.
This means electrical work can now start.
The larger metro project will connect southern Kolkata with the airport area.
The project is divided into five phases.
