Railway GM Inspects Night Train Safety, Warangal Station Redevelopment
A senior railway officer checked a train journey at night to see whether it was safe.
He travelled in the train engine from Secunderabad toward Kazipet.
He looked at the tracks, signals, electric equipment and speed warnings.
He also checked whether the train drivers and other railway workers were alert.
The next day, he visited Warangal railway station.
He inspected the platforms, waiting areas, lifts, escalators and other passenger facilities.
The station is being improved through a project costing Rs 25.41 crore.

South Central Railway General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava conducted a night footplate inspection between Secunderabad and Kazipet.
He reviewed signal visibility, track conditions, overhead traction, speed warnings, train speeds and staff alertness.
Srivastava inspected Warangal station’s platforms, waiting halls, cleanliness and other passenger facilities.
Officials briefed him on Rs 25.41 crore redevelopment works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
He directed officials to maintain upgraded facilities, improve passenger services and review future expansion plans.
