Railways Ministry Shares Progress Images Of Vadodara Station For India's Bullet Train Project · NDTV

India is building its very first bullet train.

A bullet train is a super-fast train that travels much faster than normal trains.

The train will connect two big cities, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

Right now, workers are building the train station in Vadodara.

They just finished pouring the concrete floor of the station.

Now they are lifting big steel beams and columns into place.

Those steel parts will hold up the roof, platforms, and walls.

Big cranes are helping move the heavy steel.

The train will be able to go up to 350 kilometers per hour.

That means the journey between the two cities will take only about two hours instead of several hours.
