Around 50 kilometers of wider model roads are proposed.

Roads and drains would also be improved in areas recently added to the city corporation.

The minister said several government funding programs would pay for the work.

He said the goal is to make Karimnagar a model town.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar said ₹22,000 crore had been spent on Karimnagar town and the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency during the past seven years.
