The Central Bureau of Narcotics conducted two operations near Lucknow and Barabanki.

In the first operation, officers stopped an Assam-registered SUV.

They discovered a hidden compartment inside its fuel tank containing 16.46 kilograms of heroin.

In the second operation, officers stopped a truck and found 2.16 kilograms more.

Three people connected to the trafficking network were arrested.

The vehicles and drugs were taken by the authorities, and a case was filed under India’s drug law.
