Six held with Rs 2.41 crore heroin in UP's Sonbhadra

Police in a place called Sonbhadra in India caught six people who were carrying illegal drugs called heroin.

The drugs weighed about 1.2 kilograms and were worth a lot of money, around 2.41 crore rupees.

The police got a secret tip and stopped two cars near a railway bridge.

The cars were a Creta and a Thar.

Inside the cars, police found the heroin and six mobile phones.

Police think the cars and other things they took are worth about 2.75 crore rupees in total.

This was part of a special police mission called 'Operation Shuddhi' to stop drug selling.

The six people arrested live in the Chopan and Anpara areas.

Now they will have to go through the legal process, and a case has been registered against them.
