Assam drug bust: Rs 39.4 crore heroin, YABA tablets seized

Police in Assam, a state in India, stopped a truck near a bus station in Guwahati.

Inside the truck, they found illegal drugs called heroin and YABA.

The drugs were worth about Rs 39.4 crore, which is a huge amount of money.

Two people who were with the truck were arrested.

YABA is a special kind of drug that is very harmful.

It can make people very sick and, over time, make them addicted.

Being addicted means your body feels like it always needs the drug.

The Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, thanked the police for their great work.

He said stopping these drugs protects the future of young people.

Now the police want to find out where the drugs came from and who else may be part of this illegal business.
