PM Modi urges citizens to celebrate Independence Day with pride
India has a special day coming soon called Independence Day, the day India became a free country.
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, asked everyone to celebrate it with honour, pride and glory.
He shared a video on Instagram.
In the video, many leaders and ministers wave the Indian flag and greet him.
They shout 'Vande Mataram' and 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', words that show love for India.
Modi wants every family to hoist the tricolour flag at their home.
He reminded people to remember the freedom fighters who helped India become free.
He also asked everyone to take a pledge to help make India a developed country.
