Bhopal Constable Abducted, Assaulted After Stopping Men Drinking in SUV

A police officer named Sunder Patel was working late at night in a city called Bhopal.

He saw two men drinking alcohol inside a big car, which is against the rules.

He asked them to come with him to the police station.

Instead of going with him, the men made him get into their car.

They drove around with him for many hours and hurt him.

Later, they dropped him near a building called the government press and ran away.

The car belonged to a road-building group called NHAI.

Police found the car using its number plate and arrested the two men on Monday.

The men were put in jail for taking and hurting the officer.

One of the men had also been in trouble before for a very serious crime.
