Andhra Pradesh opened a new school called the Centre for Educational Development of Minorities, or CEDM, in a town called Vaddeswaram.

The school gives free classes online and in person so that kids from far‑away places can learn.

The state’s Minority Welfare Minister, N.M.D. Farooq, said the school will help more minority students get good jobs.

He also said that even though minorities are a small part of the state’s population, they already do well in teacher exams.

The government will work with private companies to give students smart classrooms and money help.
