Woman Dies, Lover Critical in Suicide Attempt in Rajahmundry
A man named Abhilash and a woman were in love with each other.
They wanted to get married, but their families said no.
The woman's parents had already chosen someone else for her to marry.
This made the couple very sad.
They went to a spot near a bridge called Gammon Bridge one night.
Police say Abhilash hurt the woman with a sharp object.
Then he hurt himself and drank a poisonous liquid called pesticide.
Sadly, the woman died right away.
Abhilash was badly hurt but still alive, so he was taken to a hospital.
The police are now investigating what happened.
