Tanuku Couple Dies by Suicide, Leaves Child on Bridge
A young couple named Doddasai and Siri went to a bridge in Chinchinada at night.
They left their three-year-old child on the bridge.
The couple then jumped from the bridge into the Godavari River and died.
Police came after people found the child alone.
The police took the child into their care.
The couple was from Velpur near Tanuku.
Their family said they had gone to Bhimavaram about a month earlier.
