Konaseema to Develop 105 Pushkar Ghats for 2027 Pushkaralu
A very big religious festival called Godavari Maha Pushkaralu will be held in 2027.
Many people, called devotees, will visit Konaseema district to pray near the Godavari river.
The district leader, Mr. R. Mahesh Kumar, is getting everything ready for them.
He wants to build 105 special bathing places called Pushkar ghats.
The ghats will cost about ₹39.50 lakh to build.
Officials are also planning to make sure every place has electricity, with proposals worth ₹13.70 crore.
Three new electric substations will be built in different villages.
The government is spending ₹10 crore on fire services to keep visitors safe.
Plans will cover roads, drinking water, hospitals, transport, security, and parking.
Everyone is working together so the festival is safe and enjoyable for all the devotees.
Konaseema collector R. Mahesh Kumar announced that 105 Pushkar ghats will be developed at a cost of ₹39.50 lakh.
Proposals worth ₹13.70 crore were prepared for uninterrupted power supply, including electric poles and transmission infrastructure.
A review meeting for the Godavari Maha Pushkaralu – 2027 was held at Amalapuram to expedite infrastructure works.
Department-wise action plans will cover ghat construction, roads, electricity, drinking water, sanitation, medical services, transport, security, and parking.
Tenders were invited for three substations, and proposals worth ₹10 crore were prepared for fire services.
