Delhi Lakshmi Yojana to Begin ₹2,500 Monthly Aid
Delhi is starting a program called the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana to give some women ₹2,500 every month.
Around 4,000 women are scheduled to receive sanction letters on August 26.
The payments are planned to begin on September 1.
Many women have already registered or submitted applications.
Registering does not automatically mean someone will receive money.
Officials will check whether each applicant meets the rules.
Applicants can use the official website to track their application.
The program is for eligible women aged 21 to 60 who meet income and other conditions.
Women should use the official portal and not depend on agents or unofficial websites.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is scheduled to give sanction letters to around 4,000 women on August 26 at Talkatora Stadium.
The scheme will provide eligible women with ₹2,500 per month from September 1.
By August 25, about 9.13 lakh women had registered and 6.52 lakh applications had been finally submitted.
The government has allocated ₹5,110 crore for the scheme in the 2026–27 Budget.
Applicants must meet eligibility conditions and can track applications through the official portal using their mobile numbers.
