JD(U) rules out reviewing Bihar's liquor prohibition law

In a place called Bihar, in India, there is a rule that says people cannot sell alcohol.

This rule, called prohibition, was started by a leader named Nitish Kumar.

Some people now want Bihar's leaders to change the rule.

A minister named Jitan Ram Manjhi said the rule is not working well and suggested copying a different way of doing it from the state of Gujarat.

But the JD(U), a political party, said there is no question of changing the rule.

A JD(U) leader named Neeraj Kumar said the rule has helped women who live in villages, and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated it.
