Andhra Pradesh Police Sports Meet Begins With 1,900 Players
Police officers and personnel in Andhra Pradesh are taking part in a large sports competition.
The event lasts from September 1 to 4.
Around 1,900 players will compete.
They come from police ranges and units across the state.
The opening ceremony will be led by Director-General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta.
The main grounds are in Mangalagiri, in Guntur district.
Some events will happen at two universities.
The best performers may be chosen to compete at a national sports meet.
