A man who delivers packages for a courier company in India is accused of running away with some of the packages.

The packages were full of gold jewellery and gold biscuits worth about 90 lakh rupees, which is a very large amount of money.

He was supposed to carry 14 packages from the city of Pune to the city of Mumbai.

When the bus arrived in Mumbai around 9 a.m., the man was not on it.

The bus conductor said he had got off the bus near a place called Wakad Bridge.

When company workers tried to call his phone, it was switched off.

The owner of the courier company reported the matter to the police.

The police have registered a case and are now investigating what happened to the gold.
