Jewellery Stolen from Passenger’s Bag on Amaravati Bus

A passenger said jewellery was stolen from his bag while he was travelling on a bus to or from Amaravati.

The jewellery included a diamond necklace, a gold bangle and a gold earring.

He had placed the items inside a plastic box in his travel bag.

He thinks someone quietly opened the bag and took the jewellery.

The bag was then put back as it was.

The passenger suspected two people sitting in the rear seats.

Police recorded his complaint and started investigating.

They are checking travel booking information to trace the suspected thieves.
