ASI Finds 1521 Inscription of Krishnadevaraya at Veligonda Temple
The Archaeological Survey of India found an old message carved into a stone at a temple.
The stone is inside the Venkateswara temple at Veligonda in Andhra Pradesh.
The message was written in Telugu in 1521.
It mentions King Krishnadevaraya.
It says that two villages and some gardens were given to the temple.
A person named Rayasam Kondamarusayaa made the gifts for the benefit of the king and himself.
