The city government of Hyderabad, called GHMC, is starting a big cleaning program.

It will last ten days, from August 11 to 21.

The program is happening because heavy monsoon rains are coming.

Workers will pick up old trash, broken debris and green waste from the streets.

They will also clean the drains so water can flow and not cause flooding.

They will fix potholes in the roads and repair catch pits.

Every day, the work starts very early at 6 o'clock in the morning.

The city will also install systems to save rainwater and clean parks.
